Body aches are exceptionally widespread. At some point; almost everyone has suffered body pain. And the reason is there’s muscle tissue in virtually all parts of the body - so pain can be felt anywhere. 

Nevertheless, there’s no single reason for body aches and pains. While injury or overuse is common, there are other possible justifications for ongoing body discomfort.

Any event like a birthday party, family wedding, or work presentation can cause your body aches or fatigue. Even more, you could have days and days of sleepless nights due to body aches, even more so, pushing yourself each day can eventually cause you pain. 

Additionally, other reasons for experiencing body pain can include; intensifying your workout routine or starting a new exercise habit, surprisingly, lack of exercise can be a major cause of body pain - especially back pain.

When your bones and muscles are made to work way more than their normal capability, they — your bones and muscles — become stiff and sore, leading to body pain. More so, minor health conditions like; common cold, fever, and stress, and even more so, severe ones like arthritis, fibromyalgia, and hypothyroidism, can also lead to body pain. Unless you've got an underlying medical situation, body pain can be easily treated at home with simple home treatments - to relieve your body of pain. 

Dipping your feet in warm salt water after a strenuous workout seems effective in relieving pain. There's solid science behind it - dipping your feet in salty water reduces oedema by osmosis, more so, the warmth from the water relaxes the twists in tired muscles and also deals with any form of soreness that's found in your muscles. 

Fill your tub with warm water and add a cup full of salt to it. Submerge your aching body in the tub for 20 minutes. 

If you don't want to soak your body in the tub, take a fluffy towel, then dip it into the salty water. Squeeze the towel and then apply it to any part of your body that's aching. Reiterate the process till the towel becomes cool.  

You can do this treatment once or twice daily, depending on your schedule. 

When you apply ice on the top part of your body, affected with aches or pain, it slows down the nerve impulses in that region, and in turn, relieves pain. 

Cold reduction is effective in reducing pain and inflammation in the joints, even amongst arthritis patients.

Use a small towel to wrap three or four cubes of ice, then apply it to wherever in your body you have or feel aches. 

You can place cooling gel packs on the affected areas, too. Non-medicated coolant sprays can help in providing relief from pain and lessening swelling.

When you massage your body with warm mustard oil, it relieves pain. According to research, mustard oil encompasses a compound called allyl isothiocyanate which reduces inflammation in the body.

Heat a cup of mustard oil, with a microwave. But don't let the oil get too hot. Massage your entire body with the warm oil and leave it to soak in for at least 10 minutes; before taking a warm shower.

Scientists have correlated the action of ibuprofen — a potent painkiller — and ginger. It's been discovered that ginger helps in reducing inflammation and pain in the body.

Cook five glasses of water in a pan, then add two tablespoons of grated ginger to the water. Drain the water to remove the chunks of ginger, then drink the water slowly all through the day.

Another way to consume ginger is by adding a teaspoon of mashed ginger to your tea. You can use this remedy once a day. 

Curcumin is present in turmeric, and it contains analgesic and anti-inflammatory healing properties which help in relieving body pain.

Put in one teaspoon of honey and turmeric in a glass of warm milk. More so, you can add half a teaspoon of turmeric to your traditional tea. You can use this remedy once every day.

Finally, you could: drink cherry juice, drink a full glass of cherry juice once daily. Researchers have shown that cherry juice has anthocyanin pigments which help in the treatment of pain in the feet and hands.
